More Interviews!
Collin’s interview is up in the Riders section. So check that out. Hopefully this trend of interviews will continue until the entire team has an interview up. I am planning on adding other sections very very soon as well. So be on the lookout for all of this.
Kind of a weird thing that happened to me today…Spicoli showed up at Lansing. I was shredding by myself and who shows up but Spicoli and his buddy Zeko. Now I remember Zeko as this shrimpy little kid who had a seat that was three inches long. However, Zeko hit puberty (according to Spicoli) and now is massive (compared to what he used to be). He also has the longest seat I’ve seen in a long time on a BMX bike. I just felt like sharing this, I’m sure some of you remember Spicoli, and maybe a few remember Zeko.
I decided that I’m going to put up news that is non-Crossroads so the blog can be changed each day. It could be BMX related or not, but at least its something new.

This is the header of the new Vinyl BMX site, I like the header a lot. Not much has changed besides the look of it, but I personally like it better than the old one. I guess there may be some updates pretty soon, so check it out at VinylBMX.com.

I saw this over on Defgrip. The post showed off the new Cream BMX cover, which is pretty damn cool if you ask me. I wish I knew where to get Cream in the United States, I’ll have to look in on that. Does anybody know? If so, leave where I can get it in the comments, thanks a lot. If you want to see the full cover, click on these words, and you will be sent to the page with the full cover on it. Do it, you won’t be disappointed.
I don’t have an image for this one, but the new Ride BMX is not bad at all. I’ve hated Ride for the past years (probably four years?), but they actually did a sweet issue this time. It has an interview with Dave Jacobs about web design, which was a bit misleading by the title but pretty good overall. Then they had interviews with Harrison Boyce of Defgrip, Josh Clancy, formerly of Little Devil/Orchid, but now part of Defgrip as well, and last but not least, Skier Jay of Merit Compatibles. All of the articles featured artwork by these guys, and it was awesome. I’ve seen all of it before, but everyone needs to see this stuff, its really great. Click on the links to find out more stuff these guys do, its very very good.
That about wraps it up. I’m going to try to add some new features very soon, so stay on the lookout, and keep checking the site.
