DIG!

Get out here!

Come out and dig at the trails. We aren’t lying to everyone, here is proof that we have actually been working at the trails. This isn’t some Max Groen trails scene started two weeks before the first snow, we want to shred these the rest of spring, summer, and into the fall. It’s super easy to dig, and we can ride them faster if more people come out and dig. Talk to Ross, Collin, or me about when we’re heading out there, or give one of us a call to go out and dig. The plan is to have a six pack, a hip on the third set that goes to the set that curves around. We’ve started reversing some of the old jumps, so that they’ll flow with the current setup. Get out there and make something that will actually be fun to ride in the area.

Shirts Are In

These things are now available. Buy one so that we can make future kickass shirts, like the “Hard as Fuck” Ross Hensley shirt as well as the “Steve Valutis Is a Champ” shirt. Price is $15. They’re printed on American Apparel, and we all put in work to get this design done and shirts done. Support so we can do more cool stuff in the future!

The Champ Takes It

While doing some filming for the new Crossroads video, Steve took it pretty hard at the end of a train. He did a kickout, didn’t bring it back, and slid down the ramp…when his tires caught concrete, he got pitched the other way, onto his face. This was the result…7 or 8 stitches, and a concussion. He’s all good now after a trip to the all too familiar hospital for him.

Taking a Break

I never thought I’d see the day where I would take a break from doing this, but I’m getting kind of burned out. I don’t really want to shut down Crossroads completely, I just want to take some time to fully enjoy riding, and not feel obligated to film and take photos for the website. I might ask Jeremy to take over for a little bit, I haven’t totally decided that yet. I’m not sure how long this is going to last. I’ll probably get Crossroads rolling again, but for now, I’m going to take some time off to enjoy riding.
