When on the internet, there are a few sites that I definitely return to time and time again. The following are the sites that I check on a pretty frequent basis that are BMX-related. To view the sites, click on the graphics above their descriptions.

Defgrip
Defgrip is a pretty sweet site, run by Macneil’s art director. I did an interview with him a while ago, which I should have back up sometime fairly soon. Check it out, Harrison Boyce, Nuno Oliveira, Rich Hirsch, Mike Ardelean, Andrew Mcmullen, and Josh Clancy all post stuff on here, so its a good mix of the creatives of the BMX world. Good stuff.

I think everyone around our area knows what Vinyl is, but if not, its a site run by former Michiana local Tom Arkus. Check out the videos for some good riding.

The 217 is a blog based in, but not limited to Central Illinois. There’s some real nice stuff posted there, so check it out.

Midwest BMX
Midwest has been updated more in recent times, and is a pretty rad site. Thanks for the link Dominic.

Dig BMX
Dig…the best BMX magazine. This is their web prescence.

Cal City Cyclery
Okay, so I don’t check this one out as much as the others. But Mel and Jamie are good guys, so check it out.

Ray’s
If you’ve ever been there, you know. Ray’s is one of, if not the best skatepark in the United States. It is an amusement park for BMX. I really wish I lived in Cleveland during the winter. The owner, Ray, is an awesome guy, so check it out.

Ride UK
Ride UK, one of the best designed BMX magazines out there.

Sandy Carson
Sandy Carson takes great photos, but you can’t see them because his site is being redesigned.

The Last People
One of the coolest new sites on the internet, The Last People combines BMX and design into one killer website.

Time of Your Life Media
Walter Pieringer is a great photographer, videographer, and storyteller. His site has a great collection of photos and articles that he’s shot, filmed, or written. Good stuff.
